Spell Types
Offense | Defensive | Supplementary | Debuff |Self- Buff | Healing | Other-Buff | Duel type
Offensive Spells - These type of spells are meant to deal damage to whatever it manages to come In touch with. Spells of this type mainly being strictly for combat purposes as they tend to cause destruction and tend to not be safe to use around others.
Defensive Spells – These types of spells are meant to protect the caster and or others from damage. These spells having no offensive capability and are only used to stop damage and protect one or another from harm’s way
Supplementary – These types of spells usually have a different type of way of working as they are capable of helping the mage but do not hurt or protect from damage. These spells can range from illusion like spells to even flight based spells. As well as transformation spells
Debuff – These are spells that don’t necessarily harm the target instantly, but it is spells that work over time on a target start to lower their abilities little by little till cured. As Debuffs can target a range of things like, mana, eye sight, vision, physical strength, etc
Self Buff – These are spells that a mage may cast upon them self’s in order to increase the abilities of themselves for short periods of times
Healing – These are spells that one may cast in order to heal themselves or others.
Other Buff – These are spells that allows for one to boost the abilities of others for short periods of time
Duel Type – Some Mages in the land of Zandu have gained the ability to cast spells that are capable of taking on two spell types instead of one, Ie an offensive debuff spell or a defensive debuff spell. Depending on the other type of spells types the mage is capable of performing.
